Group drives
Bring your group to fix a road
We run pothole-fixing drives for groups: companies, apartment and resident welfare associations, schools, colleges and clubs. Tell us about your group and we will plan a drive with you.
On your own? Please donate or report a pothole on WhatsApp. We don’t take individual volunteers for road work.

Questions
Quick answers
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, for Indian donors. Donations to GroundReality Trust are eligible under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, under the old tax regime and within the limits the law sets. Cash gifts above ₹2,000 and gifts in kind do not qualify. The Trust holds 12AA and 80G registrations; your receipt carries the numbers. Check with your tax adviser for your own case.
How do I get my 80G receipt?
Use the receipt form, or email or WhatsApp us your name, PAN, address, amount, date and payment reference. We email the receipt after matching your payment. Your Form 10BE certificate follows by 31 May after the financial year, once we file Form 10BD.
Can I donate from outside India?
Foreign contributions can only go to an FCRA-registered account. Write to csr@groundreality.org and we will share the current details.
Can I get a refund?
Donations are voluntary. If you paid twice or the wrong amount, tell us within 7 days and we will refund it after checking. See the donation and refund policy.
Can I volunteer on my own?
Our road drives are for groups: companies, apartment and resident welfare associations, schools, colleges and clubs. Bring your group. On your own, you can donate or report potholes on WhatsApp.
Who gets the government permissions?
You do. We don’t do government liaison. The client secures government and municipal permissions; we work alongside them with designs, data and documents.
Is there a minimum for companies?
Yes: ₹25 lakh per programme, and ₹5 lakh for advice or an impact study. Each programme also has a minimum scale:
- Road restoration (potholes, signs, lights): one 2 km stretch or 1,000 m² of repairs
- AI Safe Corridors: 10 km of roads, ₹50 L–2 Cr
- Zero-Harm School Zones: 5 schools in one cluster, ₹25 L–1 Cr each
- Plastic to Pavement: 1,000 m² of GridMats, from ₹25 L
- Cool Streets: 10 sites (bus stops or schoolyards), from ₹25 L
- Farm-to-Market Roads: 1 village cluster, about ₹5 Cr
- Road Safety Fellowship: 1 cohort of 20 students, from ₹25 L
- Adopt a hot spot (road data): at least 10 hot spots or 1 ward
No single potholes or stand-alone signboards. Individual donations of any size are welcome.
Will the results stand up to an audit?
Every fix is logged with photos, measurements and sign-off, and impact studies come with a baseline, an endline and BRSR-ready reporting. CSR teams get project reports, and utilisation certificates on request.
